The Barrington Village Association is proud to announce the opening of its eighth year of operation of the Barrington Farmers Market. The market is located in the village parking lot at the corner of Main (Lake Cook Road) and South Cook Street in Barrington, Illinois. The market runs from 2:00-7:00 p.m. every Thursday beginning
June 18, 2009 and ending October 15, 2009.

The Barrington Farmers Market will offer a wide variety of vendors selling everything from fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, meats, cheeses, honey, breads, dog treats, and pasta. You can also stop by to enjoy some of the freshly prepared eating delights or find a few gift ideas as well.

Cruise Night, another great family event, will operate on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00p.m. beginning in June and running through August. Both events occur in the same area downtown and are being promoted as "Thursdays in the Village."
